This high-profile breakbulk operation, executed with meticulous precision—from expert packing at the origin to smooth unloading in Sohar—demonstrates Asyad’s ability to provide seamless, door-to-door logistics solutions for heavy lift cargo.
The specialized nature of the cargo demanded expert handling, further underscoring Asyad’s expertise in managing complex logistics operations efficiently and positioning it among the leading global end-to-end logistics providers, delivering exceptional client-focused results while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Juma Al Maskari, Director of Asyad Logistics, emphasized the importance of tailored logistics solutions and global presence: “This successful move highlights our extensive capabilities and the strength of our in-house expertise to analyse the challenge and derive safe and competitive solution for our client. Our ability to handle heavy lift cargo efficiently reflects our capacity to deliver customized solutions that meet the specific needs of our clients. These operations reinforce Oman’s growing role as a strategic logistics hub for global trade. It also reflects the significance of SOHAR Port, recognized as one of the leading ports in the region due to its advanced infrastructure. This infrastructure enables the efficient handling of heavy and complex shipments. The role of C. Steinweg Oman, the operator of the general cargo terminal at the port, is crucial in facilitating handling and storage operations. This, in turn, enhances the port’s competitiveness and supports both local and global supply chains.”
Mohammed Al Ruwaidhi, VP Aromatics & Energy, OQ RPI said: “This successful delivery of the coils demonstrates the strength of our collaboration with Asyad Group. ASYAD’s expertise in handling complex logistics operations has been critical to ensuring the safe and timely arrival of these vital components, supporting our commitment to operational excellence and the ongoing growth of Oman’s industrial capabilities.”
Asyad Group continues to drive Oman’s ascent as a global logistics hub, offering reliable and comprehensive logistical services that enhances the nation’s expanding trade.
