Since 2014, airplanes (Boeing 737 800/900) have been operating between Muscat and Duqm, six times a week. However, there is provision for road transportation from Muscat to Duqm (500kms), with the five-hour (in average) drive taking one through spectacular vistas nature, with sand dunes and camels adding to the attraction.
Transportation between Muscat International Airport and Duqm is also available through 4WD vehicles and coaches. Asyad Drydock has incorporated a safe journey management plan to ensure safe transportation between Muscat and Duqm, as per its HSSE guideline.
Asyad Drydock journey timings:
From Duqm: morning 6:00am till afternoon 1:00pm.
From Muscat: morning 6:00 am till afternoon 1:00 pm.
