Asyad Group, Oman’s global integrated logistics provider, hosted a Chinese trade delegation accompanied by HE Ambassador Nasser Mohammed Albusaidi, the Sultanate of Oman’s Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China.
Asyad presented its journey of excellence, highlighting the role of Oman’s integrated logistics ecosystem in strengthening economic ties, enabling trade between the two nations, and promoting international cooperation and sustainable development.
During the visit, Asyad Group showcased its sustainability and innovation-based initiatives across Oman’s integrated logistics ecosystem Additionally, the Group introduced the delegation to the vast investment opportunities and limitless potential that the Sultanate has to offer.
From competitive incentive packages in its free and economic zones to a wide-ranging services portfolio which includes ports, shipping, drydock, direct lines, transshipment, e-commerce and last-mile delivery, Asyad Group continues to leverage its integrated logistics ecosystem to create a thriving business environment positioning Oman as an ideal investment destination.
The Chinese delegation’s visit is the latest in a series of visits hosted by Asyad with the aim of expanding its network of partnerships with global trade and industry actors. Such targeted collaborations with major international players are part of Asyad Group’s strategy to actively promote Oman’s competitive logistics sector and cement the Sultanate’s position as a global logistics hub.
Asyad Group successfully executed a mission-critical transport operation for OQ Refineries and Petrochemical Industries (OQRPI). The specialized project involved rapid and secure relocation of 25 tons of essential, heavy equipment from Italy to Oman using a dedicated (Boeing F 747) cargo charter. Managed entirely by Asyad's specialized project logistics teams, the equipment was delivered safely and in strict adherence to the established schedule to OQRPI’s Sohar warehouse facility, showcasing Asyad’s ability to coordinate large, complex operations with precision and reliability.
