Asyad's shipping operations are unique in the GCC, in that they offer a truly integrated logistics solution which is flexible enough to meet the specific requirements of all regional and global businesses – either already operating in, or keen to enter, the expanding Middle East and Africa market.

Across our shipping services we operate a diversified fleet of 60 vessels with a total deadweight capacity (DWT) of 9.7 million to cater to customers’ needs and requirements including a mix of Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCCs), Product Tankers, LNG carriers, Chemical carriers, LPG Tankers, Very Large Ore Carriers (VLOCs) and Dry Bulk carriers as well as various regional container line services.

Asyad provides its global customers with unique, integrated, end-to-end logistics solutions, market leading incentives and an ever-expanding range of services across the value chain. The Group offers various services include maritime transportation of Crude Oil, LNG, Chemical Products, Dry Bulk and Container. This includes ship owning, ship chartering and technical ship management activities.

ABOUT DRY DOCK SERVICES

Asyad Drydock is based at the Port of Duqm and strategically located close to global shipping routes benefitting customers by reducing deviation time. With a 2,800-meter quay, a water depth of 9-10 meters, 14 sets of jib cranes and two graving docks, the Drydock can handle vessels up to 600,000 DWT efficiently.

Commencing operations in 2011, the Drydock initially specialised in handling LNG and VLCC vessels before expanding into gas carriers, car carriers, bulk carriers, pipe layers, heavy lift ships, cruise vessels and oil tankers. Now, we provide ship maintenance and conversion facilities for all types of vessels offering a full range of general vessel repair services including engineering, electrical, propulsion, accommodation upgrades, fitting, blasting, and painting as well as procurement, testing, trials and class surveys.
